The Board of Family Promise has committed to find and hire two staff people in order to resume our ability to accommodate guests. This process is expected to be completed over the next 60 days. The two staff positions to be filled include:
- A Case Manager (or resident services program manager) whose primary responsibilities will include working directly with families applying for a place in the FPWHC program and following up daily with those who are accepted into the program, as well as coordinating with host congregations. Secondary responsibilities will include supporting the overall Program Director in various ways. The Case Manager is expected to be a full-time position.
- A Program Director (or network director) whose primary responsibilities will include overseeing the operations of FPWHC on a daily(?) basis to communicate with host and support congregations; to cultivate and nurture funding partners and fund-raising activities; to interface with the FPWHC board members and volunteer committees; to coordinate training of volunteers; and to prepare budgets and reports on program outcomes. Secondarily, the Program Director will provide back-up assistance to the Case Manager. The Program Manager may be a part-time or full-time position.

A search committee has been established to solicit, review, interview, and recommend suitable candidates for the two positions described above. Initial inquiries have been requested from the host and support congregations currently engaged with FPWHC. Limited advertising for these positions will begin March 25 in local and regional newspapers and relevant web sites related to social services and homelessness issues. Submittals of interest letters and resumes must be received by April 20, 2016.
